- Professional Speaker – Paula started speaking in 1989, got her first standing ovation in 1991 and has been getting them ever since. She excels at helping clients customize their message for different audiences and delivering it in a truly memorable way.
- Author and Speechwriter – Paula brings well-honed writing talent to coaching and speechwriting. Clients become adept at using metaphors, analogies, and stories, as well as improving the structure and flow of their presentations. In addition to writing speeches, Paula is the award-winning author of several books on parenting.
- Creativity and Music - A musician and songwriter, Paula helps clients work with the “melody and rhythm” of words. She can also suggest creative ways to use music in presentations. In 2003 Paula wrote a song for the launch of a new skin care product. The Fortune 500 Company invited Paula to present the song at health conferences around the country.
- Theater Background - After Paula made her stage debut at the age of 10 as the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz she was hooked. Today she helps clients use theatrical touches to connect with audiences on many levels. They learn techniques such as dramatic gestures, vocal dynamics, props, and spontaneous interaction.
- Educator and Trainer - Paula started out as an educator, segued to training, and today designs customized training programs for clients. Organizations appreciate her skills as an expert trainer and facilitator. She produces audio and video seminars and training curriculum for clients around the country.
- Psychology Background – Paula is skilled at dealing with the internal obstacles speakers frequently encounter. She has a Masters Degree in clinical social work and practiced psychotherapy early in her career. Clients feel safe and supported; as a result, they take the necessary risks that make them better speakers and presenters.
- National Media Experience – She is a skilled media coach and has appeared on over 200 radio and television programs, including repeat appearances on Oprah and the Today Show.
